Internship or Supervised Research Request
An internship or supervised research with Wildlife Forensic Sciences and Conservation can help students gain hands-on professional skills that go beyond the online experience. Internship and research credits must be approved by our program before you can be registered to pursue an opportunity or project.
Internships are onsite work or experience in conservation, ecology or wildlife management. Settings can include animal care organizations, zoos, laboratories and other field work. These are all great opportunities to apply the knowledge you gain in this program.
Supervised research provides an opportunity to explore a specific topic in-depth. You can set yourself apart in the job market or undertake a critical project in your current role to gain skills in designing research, working with laboratories or field experience.
Before you apply for an internship or research, we recommend taking WIS6050 Professional Communication in Wildlife Forensic Science to sharpen your writing skills.
