Readmission
Your admission to our program will lapse if you do not register for two consecutive terms in the certificate program or three consecutive terms in the master’s program. This includes summer terms.
If your admission has lapsed, we are eager to help you return to complete your degree or certificate. Complete instructions are below, and we are also here to support your application for readmission. Book an appointment, email, or call to connect with an Admissions Support Specialist as you apply for readmission.
Graduate Certificate Readmission
If you have not attended classes as a certificate student for two consecutive terms or more (including summer term), you must submit a new certificate application. Do not complete the Readmission Application.
Master’s Degree Readmission
Students must apply for readmission if they have previously been admitted to and completed graduate coursework towards a Master of Science with a major in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation and a concentration in Wildlife Forensic Sciences and Conservation and have not enrolled for three consecutive terms, including summer terms.
Students are required to complete the degree within seven years of initial admission to the master’s degree program in order for credits earned to still count towards their degree.
If you are unsure whether you need to complete a readmission application or new application, please contact us at forensics@ahc.ufl.edu.
Master’s Degree Readmission Application
To continue taking courses towards your master's degree, you will need to apply for readmission through the University of Florida’s Graduate Application. Readmission is not guaranteed and can only be granted if you are in good standing.
