Graduate Certificate Admissions
Students who complete our 15‑credit certificate program receive a University of Florida graduate certificate in Wildlife Forensic Sciences and Conservation. To earn the certificate, students are expected to maintain a 3.0 GPA in the program.
Admission Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in any subject from an accredited institution (prior coursework in biology, health and/or animal sciences is recommended).
- An upper-division GPA of 2.0 (C) or better in undergraduate coursework.
- Official transcripts.
Transferring Course Credits
A maximum of three credits of coursework taken as a UF non-degree student can be applied toward the certificate program. Coursework from another university cannot be accepted for credit toward a certificate. For the credits to be applied, the following criteria must be met:
- The student must be formally admitted to the certificate program.
- The non-degree coursework grades must be a 3.0 GPA (B) or higher.
- The coursework taken as a non-degree seeking student must pertain to the certificate program the student is admitted to.
