Registration and Graduation
How to Register for Courses
Each semester, you will receive an email from our program with details on how to register. You will request the courses you would like to take, and our academic support team will enroll you in classes. Please do not try to register using ONE.UF.
We cannot register you if you have holds on your student account. Common holds include updating emergency contact and address information. Please follow these steps to clear your holds before registration begins each semester:
- Log in with your Gator Link username and password at One.UF.
- Under Action Items Summary, select Holds.
- Expand the drop-down menu under Prevent Registration.
- Click on each hold and follow the instructions to clear it.
How to Drop a Course
Before the drop/add deadline, you can drop a course without a fee or the course appearing on your transcript. To drop a class, please go to One.UF and drop the class. Dropping a class after the deadline will have financial and grade consequences.
After the drop/add deadline, students may still drop their course(s), but fees will not be refunded, and you will be assigned a W for each course on your transcript. Check the Critical Dates page for the drop/add deadline each semester and contact forensics@ahc.ufl.edu if you have any questions or issues.
Graduation
How to Qualify for Graduation
To qualify for graduation, you need to meet the following criteria:
- Completion of all required courses and necessary electives.
- Only courses completed with a grade of C or higher can be counted toward a degree or graduate certificate.
- An overall GPA of 3.0 or higher
- If you have an Incomplete in any course, please contact your instructor to ensure completion of the coursework on time.
- If you are not sure if you meet the qualifications, contact us at forensics@ahc.ufl.edu.
