Florida Gopher Frog
Rana areolata aesopus
Description: The Gopher Frogs have dusky gray backs and are covered with black spots bordered with light gray or white. They have cream colored undersides and bronze ridges along the sides of the back.
Size: This frog will reach a length of 4.33 in.
Habitat: These frogs are frequently found near to or inside of gopher tortoise burrows.
Call: The call can be heard almost year round and resembles snoring.
